The primary purpose of a refresher course is to help certified divers refresh their dive skills, especially after a period of diving inactivity. We highly recommend a refresher course for anyone who has not been diving in one year or more. The course includes pool work and one Instructor-led open water dive.
Adventure scuba dives allow you to explore your diving interests, gain dive experience, learn new skills and broaden your awareness of the underwater world. You select the dive you would like to complete with guidance from your PADI Instructor.
Completing any three adventure dives earns a PADI Adventure Diver certification. Completing the Deep dive, UW Navigation dive and three additional adventure dives (five total) earns you the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
Choose from the following Adventure Dives: AWARE Fish Identification, Boat, Deep, Digital Underwater Photography, Drift, Enriched Air, Multilevel, Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search & Recovery, Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Navigator, or Wreck.
The Adventure Diver certification gives you the chance to sample some of diving’s most popular specialties and expand your diving knowledge without taking the full advanced certification. The course can be done in one day and is comprised of the three Adventure dives of your choice.
This course gives you the chance to try some of diving’s most popular specialties and expand your diving knowledge under the close supervision of a PADI Instructor. You will complete five Adventure dives: Deep, Navigation, and three other Adventure dives of your choice.
EFR is a basic one-day training course in CPR and basic emergency care. The Emergency First Response course is not diving specific, so you don’t have to be a diver to take this course. However up-to-date (within the last two years) Primary and Secondary Care training are mandatory to enroll in a PADI Rescue Diver or Divemaster course.

The PADI Rescue Diver course is an important and crucial step in expanding your knowledge and experience beyond a purely recreational level. You learn to look beyond yourself to consider the safety and well being of other divers. The rescue diver training readies you to help prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive-related emergencies using a variety of techniques. The course is designed to be demanding, though realistic in its conduct, content and approach. Although the nature and context in which rescue training may be used is serious, the course is enjoyable and builds your confidence.
