Irma Korb
PADI Staff Instructor # 283930
Irma decided to escape the busy
city life of South Africa and come to Roatan in 2010 where she joined Subway
Watersports to do her Divemaster. A planned 2 month "diving holiday" ended up
captivating her so much that she decided to stay and do her Openwater instructor
with us as well. Irma has been in the diving industry for 16 years now and has
an extreme passion for the water and more so sharks in particular. Irma was part
of many shark conservation projects in Africa and has wide range of experience
when it comes to different diving conditions having dove all around Africa,
Mauritius & the Red Sea. Irma knows her way around boats having grown up with
boats her whole life, she also holds a skippers license.
Irma was initially hired as our lead instructor for our shop at Turquoise Bay,
but has since been put in charge to manage our Palmetto Bay dive shop with her
partner Joe. You will find Irma's adventurous personality and smiling face
mostly in the water or catch her for a laugh on a surface interval. Irma has
since completed her PADI IDC Staff Instructor and who knows where her next goal
in the dive ladder lies?

Customer comment:
Just a quick note to let you know that
during our recent trip to Roatan that the service provided by the
staff and in particular Osman was superb, he truly is a valuable
asset to your operation.
Osman clearly is highly experienced as demonstrated by how he served
the needs of both experienced and novice divers alike, it was truly
a pleasure to dive with him.
I have over 25 years diving experience and have dove with many, many
operations in the Caribbean so I have some basis of comparison for
my observations.
Please pass along our thanks to him and all of the staff at Subway.
Edwen Santos

PADI Instructor # 28634
Edwen joined our team as jr. captain, driver and

that goal
and deiced it was not enough and he joined one of our
IDC's to become one of few local dive instructors.
Edwen is now our main instructors at Turquoise Bay
but he is still doing a little bit of
everything. You may find him in the gear room, driving cruise ship passengers,
filling tanks, captaining one of our boats or of course teaching diving.
Edwen speaks Spanish and English.
